About the author

This cookbook was created by Zana Hrastovsek, who changed her diet to regain health, lose excess body weight, and win a new opportunity for a carefree life full of energy.

The recipes are real, exactly as Zana prepares them every day. In her desire for health, Zana discovered a plant-based diet, educated herself, and researched it for years and years. She also completed the Plant-based Nutrition Certificate from T. Colin Campbell.

The cookbook is a collection of recipes in the form of cooking cards that come together with a handmade wooden stand. This is a cookbook meant for cooking, not for collecting dust!

You can also take the handy cards with you to the store or lend them to a friend. Each recipe contains a list and photo of the ingredients, approximate nutritional values, clearly described steps with photos, and a photo of the finished dish.

The additional cards feature all the special ingredients, dishes, and kitchen utensils, as well as instructions for measuring the ingredients. The cookbook uses simple ingredients and tools that you most likely already have at home!

The cookbook also contains answers to the most frequently asked questions about a wholesome plant-based diet and the personal story of Zana Hrastovsek. 

Each card contains a recipe for a balanced meal, which is made up of several smaller recipes. The recipes thus consist of more than 100 smaller recipes that you can combine as you wish and create your new favorite dishes!
